Buddy Program 

The buddy program at Anglesea PS is a structured peer-support initiatives that pair Grade 6 students with a Prep buddy to help build positive relationships across age groups. The main goal is to support the Preps as they transition into school, make them feel safe and confident, and help them settle into the school community. 

Buddies work together on simple tasks – such as reading, games, playground play, or themed classroom activities so that the Prep students feel supported, while the Grade 6’s develop leadership, empathy, responsibility and communication skills.
