Our School Community
At the beginning of 2026, Anglesea Primary School had an enrolment of 152 students. Our school structure supports strong relationships and personalised learning across two learning communities:
Junior Learning Community
– 1 Prep Home Group
– 2 x Grade 1/2 Home Groups
Senior Learning Community
– 2 x Grade 3/4 Home Groups
– 2 x Grade 5/6 Home Groups
With approximately 10 teachers and a dedicated team of education support staff, business and administration personnel, our workforce collaborates closely to meet the diverse academic, social and emotional needs of every child.
Our experienced staff work in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), using evidence and data to plan targeted instruction and ensure continuous improvement in Literacy and Numeracy outcomes.
Teaching & Learning
We are proud of our strong record of student achievement and growth in Literacy and Numeracy. Students are active participants in their learning – setting goals, monitoring progress and engaging in meaningful, authentic tasks.

Our unique coastal location also supports extensive Outdoor Education opportunities, allowing students to learn in and from the natural environment.

Our school grounds are a source of pride and a powerful extension of our learning programs. Flexible buildings and outdoor facilities allow students to utilise both internal and external environments as dynamic learning spaces.

A Connected Community
Anglesea Primary School is proud to be an active and valued member of the Anglesea community. We consistently seek opportunities for students to participate in authentic projects and partnerships with local organisations.
